Rustico Prela

Il Rustico is a romantic natural stone house for 4 to 5 people, nestled amid ancient olive groves, just 9 kilometres from the fine sandy beaches of the Ligurian coast and the charming old town of Imperia Porto Maurizio. This lovingly restored holiday home is part of a traditional olive farm, an organically grown ensemble that also includes Nido Celeste, La Mola and Casa Rosa. Here you'll experience authentic Liguria far from mass tourism, surrounded by Mediterranean nature, peace and quiet, and original charm.

Access to the house is via an old natural-stone path, part of a historic network of trails running throughout Liguria. Right in front of the house awaits a spacious, enclosed garden terrace with a romantic seating area under a large palm tree, a stone-built barbecue, and plenty of room for sun loungers in the shade of the olive trees, a paradise for children too, as the car-free surroundings invite safe play and exploration. Please note, however, that some terraces, stairs and the pool area are not secured with railings.

About 100 metres from the house lies the 4 x 10 metre pool (1.40 m deep), available exclusively to guests of the olive farm, a wonderful spot to cool off after a day at the sea or a hike through the Ligurian hills.

The holiday home itself has been restored with great attention to detail, while preserving its original Ligurian character: natural stone walls, wood-beamed ceilings, a stone counter and an open fireplace create a warm, authentic atmosphere. The spacious kitchen-living area, with wood-fired pizza oven, is directly accessible from the terrace and flows openly into the living area, where a large wooden table and comfortable seating invite you to linger. Two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), one with two single beds (90 x 200 cm each), along with a modernised shower room, offer ample space for families or friends travelling together.

Amenities include air conditioning, a pellet stove for cooler days, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, coffee machine, Nespresso, etc., as well as a private parking space. Everything is designed to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Just one kilometre away, you can reach the charming village of Molini di Prelà, accessible via an old donkey path in about 15 minutes on foot, or along the road either walking or by car. There you'll find everything for daily needs: a pharmacy, a well-stocked grocery shop, two pizzerias and an excellent restaurant. Once a month, a traditional flea market brings the little piazza to life, ideal for browsing and enjoying.
